Final Draft 9 review from FairerPlatform.com

How dominant is Final Draft? Though you won’t find a press release on FinalDraft.com, there are testimonials from JJ Abrams, Tom Hanks and James Cameron. The one website I found that noted its arrival was the Sacramental Bee — lots of screenwriters in California’s state capital, I guess.

• Final Draft 9
— All New Navigator: No longer just a Scene Navigator, the new Navigator also displays ScriptNotes and Characters arcs.
— OS X 10.9 Mavericks compatible
— Retina ready
— Over 100 templates for film, TV, and stage

Abrahms, Hanks and Cameron are fans because Final Draft doesn’t require the use to create or edit script formatting rules. Additionally, as noted in the release notes, Final Draft offers dozens, as in more than 100, of templates and the tools needed to manipulate them.
